Despite continued difficulties in the domestic market due to reputational damage stemming from the red yeast rice issue, the health food business achieved overall revenue growth, supported by steady performance in the new application business for overseas markets.
On the profit side, while the health food segment was impacted by increased costs due to a temporary decline in profitability, the highly profitable new application business drove performance, resulting in both revenue and profit growth compared to the previous fiscal year.
